Chef Teri Fermo worked in fine restaurants for many years in Oklahoma, Ohio, California, New Jersey and New York before graduating the associate's program in culinary art at The Culinary Institute of America with honors in 1999. She continued her training in Hyde Park, New York, earning eight scholarships and graduating the bachelor's program with honors in 2001. During that time, Teri was named one of Ten Top Student Chefs by Food and Wine Magazine and attended the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen.
Following her time at the CIA, Teri continued her studies in London and Paris at Le Cordon Bleu where she earned the baking and pastry diploma (Diplôme de Pâtisserie) in 2002. She returned to Tulsa and opened Bohemia, Moveable Feast Caterers on November 11, 2005. Chef Fermo moved in September, 2008 to a new larger kitchen located in mid-town on 33rd Street just east of Harvard Avenue. She continues to provide innovative cuisine to her clientele and to explore other cities and their cuisine in order to maintain a fresh and exciting approach to preparing food.
